Absolutely outstanding results from our children at last weeks run at the Western Bay of Plenty Cross Country at Pongakawa. Two of our children were the winners of their events. This means that Tasmin S [year 4 girl] and Hannah S [Year 6 girl] are the top runners at their level for all of the area from Te Puke to Waihi [including Tauranga]. An outstanding effort to have two winners out of the six events.
Waihi East Primary School played in a 10 aside rugby Tournament on Tuesday 27 June at the Paeroa Domain. Out of the eight teams in the year 5/6 category we finished 3rd behind Parawai and Paeroa Central Schools. Kyle was named the East School player of the day by organizer Mr Fisher from the Thames Valley Rugby Union.
