Rise Above and Shine
We are all ready for a great weekend!
• Thank you for all those helping – we really appreciate your support. I know you’ll have a great time. All helpers should be contacted, however just turn up on Saturday morning from 8.00pm.
◊ We still need more helpers for Sunday morning to cook brunch.
◊ 1 more BBQ needed also.
◊ More muffins/cakes/slices needed.
◊ More sandwich fillings needed.
• We still need more children doing Jump Jam – the bigger the group the better.
• The children should wear their school uniform if they have got one. They should also wear their school hat.
• The programme starts at 10.00am on the field with the parade. Children will be participating in the parade.
• Please don’t park around the front of the school – all parking is on the field.
Thanks to Sonya, Carolyn, Sue, Teresa, Sharon, Becky, Annette and Andre who are attending Room 2 camp next week. All parents are welcome to visit camp and participate in activities. If visiting you are not required for camp transport, so you may wish to car pool with other families.
Each child has a note requesting food items, payment of camp fees and medical information. Please return ASAP. Remember food donations—meat to school on Friday and all other food donations Monday.
A reminder that there is a meeting on Thursday night at 7.30 for the Room 3 camp helpers.

Teachers appreciate parents calling in during the first week or two to say “hello” and make themselves known especially in cases where the teacher is new to them. I encourage parents to make contact as teachers feel their knowledge and understanding of a child is incomplete when the parents are not known to them.
I’d like to extend a warm welcome back – I hope you have all had a good holiday and are looking forward to a great year at school. This year is a special year with our centenary celebrations coming up at the end of the month. I hope that all get involved in the centenary – I know you’ll enjoy it if you do.
