The School Goal for this week, is to show initiative at school. At Monday’s assembly children said they would show initiative by -
•    Following rules.
•    Helping relievers.
•    “Not having relievers on”.
•    Be kind.
•    Help each other.

  • We hope you have enjoyed reading about your child’s achievements in their year books.
  • If you would like to discuss any aspects of your child’s learning, please contact their classroom teacher.
  • Year Books are due back to school by Friday 4th July or by negotiation with classroom teachers.

This week children decided we should put an emphasis on patience as our goal. Children across the school shared examples of what patience would look like at Waihi East. This is the focus of the week. Well done to Molly for her suggestion.

SCHOOL GOAL

The goal for this week is Personal Respect – making positive comments, encouraging our friends.

DONATIONS / LEVIES

A reminder that there is a discount, if school donations / levies are paid before the end of the term. The levy is used to provide classroom consumables and resources, as well as subsidising photocopying costs. The discounted levies are:
•      1 child family – $50 – [$15 per Term]
•      2 child family – $90 per family [$30 per Term]
•      3 child family – $120 per family [$40 per Term]
Those families who enrol part way through the year will pay the appropriate term amounts and discount.

The Goal for this week is respecting people’s space and belongings.
The Raffle Results from our Gala are: $60 petrol voucher—Sandra; girls raffle– Heather J; boys raffle—Alex C; groceries—Coral L; groceries—Nichol; Karyn W Voucher—Anne P; Rainbows End Passes—Leann B; Easter Raffle—Julie T; Firewood Raffle—Anne P. Thanks to everyone who supported these raffles.

ARTWORK
The children have made beautiful Placemat Art Work these can be viewed in your child’s classroom. We can laminate these for you at a small cost of $1.00. Pick-up times for these is after 3.00pm in the Office.
